Shakshuka
is a Mexican dish which has simply vegetables and eggs in it. It is had as
breakfast or lunch. Shakshuka is a dish where you can play around with the
vegetables you and your family likes. So the type of shakshuka I am sharing
with you is one of my and my family’s favorite. Over here I have added few
vegetables and few ingredients with which we can make delicious shakshuka. So
if we have less ingredients and less time we can go for this and this is
easiest and full filing recipe. You can enjoy this with bread or rice which
ever way you like it to be.
Many think
that it requires a lot of effort to be made but this is the easiest , delicious
and effort less recipe.
So let’s
start with the recipe:-
Ingredients
:-
1) Eggs (3)
2) Onion (2 thinly sliced)
3) Tomato (2 thinly sliced)
4) Capsicum (1 thinly sliced)
5) Jeera or Cumin Seeds (1/2 tsp)
6) Salt (As per taste)
7) Turmeric or Haldi (1/2 tsp)
8) Red Chilli Powder (1 tsp)
9) Cinnamon Stick
10) Oil (7 Tsp)
11) Garam Masala (1/2 tsp)
Instructions
:-
Firstly ,
we will make sauce for the same.
So get a
pan or kadai, Add oil to it
Add
Cinnamon stick and jeera or cumin seeds
After 1
min, Add onion
Mix it
After it is
translucent, Add capsicum. Mix and cook it for 1 min
Add the
spices.
Haldi, red
chilli powder , garam masala and salt to it
Mix it and
add tomatoes
Add water
to the mixture as we want to make thick gravy of it.
Close it
with the lid.
Mix it
properly
Get the
mixture ready.
Now take a
flat pan or tawa.
Add the
mixture on it
Make space between
the mixture so that we can drop eggs in between
Make the
burner to low medium and add the eggs one by one
Sprinkle some salt on top
Now on low
medium
Close the pan
with the lid and cook it for few mins
As soon as
the egg is cooked .
Remove each
eggs with some part of the mixture.
Shakshuka
is ready !!
Enjoy it
with bread , roti or rice
