Mango Chutney (15 Mins)

Mango Chutney is an authentic recipe which can only be made by Raw Mangoes and while Mangoes are in season you should definitely give it a try I am very sure you will love it.
Best thing is it can be made and stored for weeks in refrigerator. It is a sweet , tangy , spicy chutney or a dip which can be had with anything literally anything. I will show you 2 variation in this post.

Ingredients :- 

1) Raw Mango
2) Mint or Pudina
3) Garlic
4) Green Chillies
5) Salt
6) Sugar
7) Jeera

 
Instructions :-

So for making Mango Chutney.
I have taken 2 Medium size Raw Mango (Peeled and Chopped)
2 bowl of pudina
15 to 20 Green Chillies
8 to 10 Garlic Cloves
1 tsp of Jeera
Salt as per taste
Half bowl of Sugar

So this are the ingredients which were used for making both variation.


So 2 variations which are :-

1) Tangy and Spicy Mango Chutney
2) Sweet and Tangy Mango Chutney

So first i will show you Tangy and Spicy Mango Chutney.


For making Tangy and Spicy Mango Chutney, Take a Mixing Jar.

Add Mint or Pudina , Garlic , Green Chillies , Jeera , Salt , Raw Mango in a Jar



Grind it till you get a nice paste out of it. If you want to add water you can but preferably dont add.

  
Tangy and Spicy Mango Chutney is ready !!

NOW for Sweet and Tangy Mango Chutney you have to take the same chutney and add sugar to it.


Grind it till the sugar is all mixed together properly.

Sweet and Tangy Mango Chutney is ready !!




 They look exact same but they taste exact different.

Questions that can hit your mind :-

Do we need to add that much green chillies ?

No, If you like less spices then you can add according to you and if you add it , It balances the flavour as the mangoes are raw.

You have added alot of mint or pudina ?

If you need you can add less but it is mandatory to add mint or pudina in this recipe otherwise you will not get the flavour.

 Can we make alot of them and keep it stored ?

Yes, you can do that and make sure you keep it refrigerated and you can keep it upto 10 days.
