Vegetable Chilla (Easy, 25 Mins)
Vegetable Chilla is a very easy yet tasty recipe for vegetarians especially. Which is mainly made for breakfast. It is a very healthy breakfast.
Follow the instructions below for getting the recipe.
Ingredients :-
1) Besan or Chickpea Flour
2) Onion
3) Tomato
4) Chilli
5) Jeera
6) Haldi
7) Chilli Powder
8) Salt
9) Amchur or Dry Mango Powder
10) Oil
Instructions :-
Take a big bowl, Add 1 small Onion , Tomato , Chilli. Cut all the ingredients very thinly.
Add 1 tsp of jeera, ½ tsp of chilli powder, ¼ tsp of haldi , ½ tsp of amchur or Dry Mango powder.
Add salt as per taste. Mix it properly.
Add 8 tsp of besan or chickpea flour. Add water.
Make sure you add water little by little you dont want to make the batter very watery.
Take a tawa or frying pan , Add little oil on pan and spread it.
Pour the batter on the pan and spread it.
DO NOT make it very thin.
Add little oil in the corner of the chilla.
Cook it on low flame.
When you see bubbles from one side flip it and cook the other side.
Cook on other side for 3 to 4 mins or until cooked.
Your Vegetable Chilla is ready to serve.
Enjoy it with tomato ketchup or if you like spicy you can also have it with green chutney.

Yes, you can add wheat or maida.

Yes , you can add vegetables according to your preference. But make sure you chop it very thin.
