Sabudana Khichadi (Easy , 20 Min Recipe)

Sabudana Khichadi is every Indian’s favourite dish. Sabudana Khichadi is mainly made in Indian household during fasting for various festivities. It is very simple yet delicious dish which can be made everyone.
Follow the below instructions for making the delicious dish for yourself.



Ingredients :-

1) Sabudana
2) Potato
3) Jeera
4) Unsalted Roasted Peanuts
5) Salt
6) Sugar
7) Lemon Juice
8) Chilli
9) Oil

Instructions :-

Firstly you need to soak Sabudana in water for 2 to 3 hours.

Then take a sauce pan and add 1 ½  tsp of oil.




After the oil gets heated , Add ½  tsp of jeera , 2 chilli sliced thinly and 1 small potato chopped in thin slices



After the potato is cooked add soaked sabudana to the pan , ½ tsp of sugar and salt as per taste.




Mix it properly.


Now cook the dish on low medium heat till sabudana becomes translucent



Add your crushed Roasted peanuts into the pan


Mix it properly and your delicious sabudana is ready in no time.





Questions that can hit your mind 

Can we use tomato in the dish ?

Yes you can use it before adding sabudana and you have to let the tomato cook first and after that add sabudana otherwise sabudana will become soggy.
